At Riverside, a safety-first focus is paramount for our employees, the public and the environment.

ATTENTION ALL EMPLOYEES

Policies requiring signatures have been updated for the 2024 construction season. They are available online.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BELOW TO ENSURE YOU COMPLETE ALL THE REQUIRED TRAINING.

Riverside Contracting Inc. has developed training modules that are designed to give the employee in-depth knowledge of the safety rules, safety policies and company operations. The training modules consist of the general safety rules, company policies, special announcements, and safety training videos. Each one of these sections will give you a very good understanding of the do’s and don’ts of the company operations.

Here is a breakdown of annual company training modules assigned to employees:

The General Safety Rules Training is a detailed look at the company safety rules as they pertain to your specific job.
The Company Policy Training is the standard of conduct set forth by the company owners.
The Safety Training Videos (Asphalt Paving Operation, Chip Seal Operation, Truck Safety, HazMat Training, etc.) are designed to show you the operations of the company and give you a basic understanding of the hazards you may encounter in the workplace.
The EEO Information section introduces employees to the concept of Equal Employment Opportunity and explains the location where EEO Bulletin Boards (or Binders) can be found.

The following is a list of modules that must be completed for your job classification:

– ALL employees MUST complete:

General Safety Rules Training (Reading & Quiz)
Company Policy Training (Reading & Quiz)
Asphalt Paving Operation Training (Video & Quiz)
Chip Seal Operation Training (Video & Quiz)
EEO Information (Read only, no quiz)

– Truck Drivers/CDL Holders also complete:

It is a mandatory requirement and a condition of employment that you read/review all content in each section and complete the quizzes at the end of the module. Each module has a time stamp that is logged to show how much time is spent in each section. This is to ensure that the material is reviewed prior to taking the quiz.

Note: It is your responsibility to complete all of the modules and quizzes from the above classification lists which pertain to you. If one of the modules is not completed for your classification (including the quiz), you will not be allowed to work and you will not be compensated until all required modules are completed 100%.

**Make sure you click the “Complete Course” button after submitting and reviewing your quiz results in the system. The course will not show as complete if you do not follow all directions.**

Train with the Eloomi App

In 2024, we have officially switched over to a more user friendly training platform called eloomi! Employees create an account which will be used for training throughout the entirety of their employment. No need for special codes or different logins each year, this is a year-round platform which remains active!

Activate Your Account

An activation link is sent to your email on file. Click the link and setup your account. If required, enter the platform name “RiversideContracting”.

Create Password

Create a password for your account, choose one you will remember or note it in a safe place!

Home Tab

The home tab shows courses that are available for you, scroll to see them all (not all courses are required)!

Learn Tab

The learn tab displays all your courses and corresponding completion status.

Start Training

Select a course and start learning! Make sure you complete all required courses.

Complete Training

Once you read/review the content and complete the quizzes, you must select the “Complete Course” button to submit your final score.

You must receive an account activation email before you can login for the first time. Call the office at (406) 256-0555.
